Staying on a Private Water Village Resort

The uniqueness and beauty of Sipadan Water Village is inspired with the local Bajau architechtural structures. The neighbors of the resort comprise a number of Bajau fishermen residing an area of the Mabul Island where one can see their little homes made of traditional palms.

The over water construction of the resort made the place very exceptional. The silts used for building the SWV Resort are made of ironwood or Belian Wood positioned in selected points to lessen the damage of the reefs. With the spectacular ambiance, delightful Asian and Continental specialties at the open restaurant, and heavenly walkways garnished with fresh scented flowers, no wonder the place is considered an amazing paradise for many tourists.

The one-of-a-kind Asian Diving Resort provides accommodation to the guests through their 45 fabulous chalets with floor designs intentionally elevated with less than a meter over the water. The guest can assure a perfect and relaxing retreat at SWV because it rests on the part of the island safe from the storms. Each of the chalets features a wide and spacious room with a sliding door that provides access to the enchanting view of the sea.
